Water Management Software
One platform to run every part of your water system
Hydrotec's water management software connects the physical layer of water infrastructure — plants, networks, ATMs, tanks and sensors — to the dashboards, mobile apps and APIs your teams use every day. One data model instead of five disconnected tools.

The problem
Water infrastructure runs on disconnected tools
Most operators piece together spreadsheets, SCADA exports, paper logs and standalone vendor apps to understand what's happening across their sites. That gap gets more expensive as the network grows.
- No single view of device status, water quality and consumption across sites
- Manual reporting that takes days instead of minutes
- Alerts that reach the field too late, or not at all
- Vendor lock-in with hardware that can't be integrated into other systems
The Hydrotec approach
A connected data model for water infrastructure
Hydrotec models your infrastructure — sites, devices, users, transactions and readings — as one connected system. Every device, whether it's a Water ATM, a quality sensor or a treatment plant controller, reports into the same platform, so your team sees one picture instead of many.

Live sites
Features
What's included
Site & asset management
Register sites, devices and assets with location, specifications and maintenance history in one registry.
Water quality tracking
Continuous or scheduled quality parameters tied to every site and device, with threshold-based alerts.
Consumption & flow monitoring
Live and historical consumption, flow and pressure data across your network.
User & access management
Role-based access for operators, field technicians, administrators and read-only stakeholders.
Maintenance workflows
Log faults, assign work orders and track resolution against every device.
Reporting & analytics
Scheduled and on-demand reports for operations, compliance and leadership.
Architecture
Built as one pipeline, not five products bolted together
Data flows from field devices through a single ingestion layer into a shared data model, so dashboards, mobile apps, APIs and analytics all read from the same source of truth.

Use cases
Where this fits
Municipalities
A single system of record for public water assets across departments and wards.
Water ATM networks
The management layer behind a fleet of dispensing points — see /water-atm-software/.
Treatment plants
Process visibility layered on top of existing SCADA and control systems.
Technical detail
Deployment options
Hydrotec's platform is designed to sit alongside your existing infrastructure rather than replace it outright.
- Cloud-hosted multi-tenant deployment for fast onboarding
- Data ingestion from IoT devices, manual entry and third-party system exports
- Role-based access control and audit logging
- REST API for integration with GIS, billing and ERP systems
Why it matters
Benefits
One source of truth
Every team looks at the same data instead of reconciling exports.
Faster response
Alerts reach the right person as soon as a threshold is crossed.
Lower operating overhead
Less manual reporting, more automated reporting.
Future-proof
APIs mean the platform grows with new devices and systems.
FAQ
Common questions
Is Hydrotec's water management software built for one type of operator?
No — the same underlying platform supports Water ATM operators, water utilities, treatment plants, municipalities and industrial water users. What changes is configuration: which devices you connect, which reports you need and which workflows your team follows.
Can it work alongside our existing SCADA system?
Yes. Hydrotec is designed to sit on top of existing infrastructure and ingest data from SCADA exports or direct device connections rather than requiring a rip-and-replace of control systems.
Do we need to be technical to use the platform?
The operational dashboards are built for non-technical operations staff. Technical teams who want deeper integration can use the Water API alongside the standard interface.
How is water quality data collected?
Either from connected IoT sensors reporting continuously, or from scheduled manual entry where lab testing is used instead of live sensors. Both feed the same quality records and alerting rules.
